How to choose a web development company (without getting burned)

Choose a web development company by asking who will design and build the work, whether the scope and timeline are written down, what you own at handover, and whether they have shipped projects like yours. Price matters. Ambiguity costs more.

Five questions that sort serious teams from slide decks

You do not need a 40-page RFP. You need answers you can reuse in a contract.

  • Who is the project manager, and do they stay after the sale?
  • Will I see working demos, or only a big reveal?
  • What do I own — code, Figma, hosting, analytics?
  • What happens after launch if something breaks?
  • Can you show a project with a similar constraint to mine?

Red flags we would walk away from too

A price before a page list. Unlimited revisions with no definition. “We will figure out SEO later.” A team that cannot name the stack. Hosting you are not allowed to access.

How Intelligic runs this

The people who quote the work are the people who ship it. You get a dedicated project manager, transparent timelines, and a handover where the accounts are yours.

If we are not the right fit, we will say so. A bad match wastes both calendars.
